Program Objectives:

 

Welcome to Uranus! This is a social program for preteens where we prioritize our students' holistic development through various socially engaging activities and improving executive functioning. This program will focus on fostering growth in the following key areas:

Perspective Taking:

  • Students will engage in activities designed to enhance their ability to understand and appreciate the perspectives of others.

  • Through guided discussions and interactive exercises, we aim to develop empathy and a deeper understanding of diverse viewpoints.

Building Friendship:

  • Our program places a strong emphasis on cultivating meaningful connections and friendships.

  • Through structured group activities and team-building exercises, sudents can develop lasting bonds with their peers.

Building Bridges to Independence:

  • We believe in empowering students to navigate the path towards independence with confidence.

  • Practical skills and strategies will be imparted, focusing on fostering independence and self-reliance in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Life Skills/Executive functioning skills:

  • The program incorporates a range of life skills training to equip students with valuable tools for daily living.

  • From communication and problem-solving to time management and organization, we aim to enhance practical skills contributing to overall well-being.

Self-esteem:

  • Boosting self-esteem is at the heart of our program.

  • Students will build a strong sense of self-worth and confidence through positive reinforcement, individual recognition, and self-reflection.

Join us as we embark on personal growth and social development. Our Social Group Program is designed to create a supportive and inclusive space where students can thrive and build the skills necessary for a fulfilling and independent life.

Course Fees

CAD 1260/ 9 classes per term

The program term payments must be paid in full for the entire term prior to the first day of the term.

The 1:1 BI session fee is paid monthly.
