The program catering to children aged 3-6 with autism and their specific goals, is closely supervised by a dedicated behaviour consultant - Carly Chui

Tailored to meet the unique needs and individual goals of each child, ensuring a focused and personalized approach to their development.

Our School Readiness Program aims to prepare children with autism for a successful transition into a school environment, equipping them with the necessary skills and abilities to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. We understand that every child is unique, so our program is carefully crafted to address their specific goals and challenges. Dedicated to fostering their overall development, independence, and confidence as they embark on their educational journey. We strive to create a nurturing and inclusive environment where each child's unique potential can flourish.

Here's an overview of what our School Readiness Program offers

- Individualized Goal Setting -

We work closely with parents, caregivers, and professionals to identify and prioritize the child's specific goals. Whether it's improving communication and social skills, enhancing self-regulation abilities, or developing cognitive and academic capabilities, our program focuses on targeted objectives tailored to the child's individual needs.

- Comprehensive Assessment -

Our team conducts a thorough assessment of each child's abilities, strengths, and areas of growth. This evaluation serves as a foundation for developing a personalized curriculum that encompasses all aspects of school readiness.

- Structured Learning Environment -

Our program provides a structured and supportive learning environment to help children with autism feel secure and confident. We follow evidence-based teaching strategies, incorporating visual supports, individualized schedules, and task analysis to promote understanding and engagement.

- Social Skills Development -

We prioritize social skill development, recognizing the significance of peer interactions and collaboration. Through structured play, group activities, and facilitated socialization opportunities, we encourage children to improve their social communication, turn-taking, sharing, and building friendships.

- Communication Enhancement -

Our program emphasizes communication skills, employing various methods such as visual supports, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems, and individualized speech and language therapy techniques. We foster the child's ability to express their needs, engage in conversations, and comprehend instructions effectively.

- Cognitive and Academic Preparation -

We introduce developmentally appropriate cognitive and academic activities tailored to each child's abilities and learning style. Our program focuses on promoting early literacy, numeracy skills, problem-solving abilities, and fostering a love for learning.

- Sensory Integration and Self-regulation -

We address sensory sensitivities and self-regulation challenges commonly associated with autism. Our program incorporates sensory integration techniques, sensory breaks, and strategies to enhance self-awareness and emotional regulation.

- Parent and Caregiver Involvement -

We believe in the importance of collaboration between our team and the child's support network. We provide regular progress updates, offer strategies for extending learning into the home environment, and actively involve parents and caregivers in the child's educational journey.

*The lesson plan can be only seen as a reference. This summer program will be modified based on the level and needs of the registered learners. We believe that flexibility, positive encouragement, and parents' involvement are key throughout the process.
