Job Requirements/ description:

Must have experience working with children or special needs

You need to have a positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills

Able to take constructive feedback and implement it immediately

Attend initial training workshops and any on-going workshops/ meetings
-
Ability to effectively monitor, collect, and record data on the child’s progress

Implement an individualized educational plan created by the Behavioural consultant
-
Able to work in groups as well as individually. As you will be working in a team with 2 to 3 other BI’s lead by a Behaviour consultant (BCBA) or working one on one with the toddler
-
Training will be provided by a BCBA or a senior Behaviour Interventionist.
Other requirements:

Fluent in English (knowledge of other languages, such as Mandarin, Cantonese, Tagalog, Japanese, Korean, Russian and Arabic, etc. is asset)(knowledge of other language(s), such as Mandarin/Cantonese, is asset)

Completion of Criminal Record Check

Must be at least 19 years old

Have a reliable mode of transportation

Job Position:
Junior Behaviour Consultant
Job description
As a Junior Behaviour Consultant you must be able to
-
Apply behaviour principles based on Applied Behaviour Analysis to develop the Behaviour Intervention Plan(s) with/without assistance from a Behaviour Consultant
-
Record and report observations and assessments based on the individual child’s needs to the team
-
Track all progress and hours spent with the child and reporting back to the organization
-
Work collaboratively with other Behaviour Interventionists and Behaviour consultants
Job Requirements:
-
A minimum of 4 year experience working with at least 10 children with special needs
-
Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) or working toward being certified with the Behaviour Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
-
A master’s degree or pursuing a master’s in Education, Psychology, Applied Behaviour Analysis, or any related disciplines
-
