Saturn
Developing Social and Executive Functioning Skills

Program Objective:

The Saturn program is designed for teenagers to participate in various group and peer plays at the recreational centre, parks, and BridgeKids centre. Activities include sports, video games, card/board games, and group projects based on the group's consensus. It focuses on fostering independence, social confidence, and social communication skills. Participants will work on expanding their interests, accepting other's choices and practicing conversation skills to connect with peers and teachers. Saturn's program offers a dynamic small-group setting for students to boost their social skills through plays and interactions with others.

How We Monitor Progress:

Your child's progress is monitored throughout the term; not just at the end.

Before the program
An individual assessment helps us identify learning needs, establish goals, and determine appropriate group placement.

During each session
Facilitators observe and support each learner's participation in group games and outdoor group activities, conflict resolution & problem solving skills, peer relations & interactions by noticing differences in perspectives, behaviours, and progress toward their individualized learning goals.

Every month
Our facilitators meet to review learner progress and discuss programming adjustments and group placement when needed.

Mid-term
Families have an individual meeting with our team to discuss their child's progress, goals, and next steps.

End of term
Families receive a written progress report summarizing their child's progress and areas for continued development.

See What Your Child Is Learning:

We know that parents want to understand what happens after they drop their child off.

Through our private Bridge Kids group app, families can see photos from each session and learn about the activities and skills their child worked on that day.
