Buddie Bundle Summer Camp

Children with ASD often find it difficult to express themselves to others. With the pandemic for the past year, children with ASD having been at home for the most part may now find it ever more challenging to readjust to the restrictions becoming looser. It is our mission to help children with ASD regain and to strengthen these social skill sets during this Summer Camp. 

In accordance to BC Health regulations, our class size will be limited with minimum staff on site. Therefore, this program will be designed for those who do not require 1:1 supervision. All participants will be expected to be able to sit in a circle without problem behaviours or constant reminders from the teacher. 

In this summer camp program, participants will learn social and emotional skills at a kindergarten/elementary school level.

The program will be designed and facilitated by 2 Behaviour Consultants (BCs); a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA), Roslie Hong and a Behavior Consultant on RASP (Registry of Autism Service Providers), Phyllis Yip.

Covid Safety:

Children will be given a snack time and only 2 children will be sharing one big table or sitting at his/her own desk. All children must check their temperature and wash their hands when they enter the room Children will be brought to wash their hands a number of times during each class. Children must stay home if they show symptoms of Covid.
