In this program, children will be attending structured classes focusing on improving children’s social language skills through pretend play and props. Children will learn conversational and social play skills with peers as they act out different roles such as chef, doctor, police, teacher, postman, flight attendant, firefighter, animals etc. In the group setting, children will also improve social and team-work skills through learning to taking turns, sharing, listening and collaborating with other peers.
The program will be run by two Behaviour Consultants: Roslie Hong and Phyllis Yip as well as be monitored and closely collaborated with our Senior Behavior Consultant, Katy Harwood. Each lesson plan will be developed by our Senior Behaviour Consultant along with the two facilitators to target the improvement of these skills. Discussions before and after each lesson with the Senior Behaviour Consultant and facilitators will also take place to reflect and progress with each consecutive lesson throughout the duration of this program.
