Sally is now in her ninteenth year of teaching children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). She still has the same passion and enthusiasm for early behaviour intervention as she did upon graduation. In the past years, Sally worked as a behaviour interventionist and a special education assistant, supporting children with autism and other disabilities.

 

Sally is a Board Certified Behaviour Analysts (BCBA), with a Master of Education degree in Special Education. She completed the BCBA coursework from the University of British Columbia (UBC). Sally graduated from UBC with a degree in Psychology. She then acquired a postgraduate education diploma called "Infant Development and Supported Child Care" from UBC. Sally completed her Master program from The Education University of Hong Kong (EduHK) and was excited to write a book with short stories for EduHK. The book "Our Journey" was then published in 2012.  

 

Sally is dedicated in keeping current with early intervention through professional development. She continues learning and growing as a behaviour consultant and also as a mother of two daughters.

Sally is also fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin.

Chidori started to work as a behaviour interventionist with young children diagnosed with autism in 2008.  Since then, she has worked as a behaviour interventionist and a behaviour consultant with children and adults with autism in Greater Vancouver and Victoria.  She became a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst in 2014 and then a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in 2021.  She has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Education in Special Education with a concentration in Autism and Developmental Disabilities from the University of British Columbia. 


Chidori joined Bridge Kids in 2017 and has been enjoying her work supporting Bridge Kids families and helping children gain new skills and grow.  It is her passion to help create meaningful changes to each child’s and the family’s life for today and for the future.

Born in Hong Kong and moved to Vancouver, Canada, when he was 7 years old, Henry has enjoyed working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders since June 2007 throughout Metro Vancouver as well as in St. Cloud, Minnesota as a Behaviour Interventionist, Residential Care Worker and Behaviour Consultant. His clients have ranged from young toddlers to late teenagers. The field of ASD and disabilities has all been more relevant and personal to him as he was diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome at Sunny Hill Health Centre in Vancouver when he was 9 years old.

 

He has been a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) since March of 2016 and joined Bridge Kids the same year. He graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Integrated Sciences at the University of British Columbia. He then completed a Master of Science Degree in Special Studies: Autism Spectrum Disorder at St. Cloud State University in Minnesota, with an emphasis on Applied Behaviour Analysis. In March and November of 2016, he had been invited by Dr. Pat Mirenda to speak to a group of Master’s level students as part of a panel of adults with ASD.

 

He has been devoted to keeping up to date with Applied Behaviour Analysis and Early Behaviour Intervention through professional development, as well as an active advocate for individuals with disabilities. He enjoys skiing, hiking, road trips, photography and playing badminton and piano in his spare time.

Abbie Chan, M.A., BCBA

Abbie graduated from Simon Fraser University in 2015 and started her journey as an ABA therapist since then. She earned her Master's degree in Educational Counselling at The Education University of Hong Kong the following year. She has been working with 3 to 15-year-old children in multiple settings and in different roles: schools as a co-teacher and shadow teacher, centres as a therapist, and private practice as a consultant throughout the years. She has been a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) since 2021.

Abbie's goal is to create holistic learning environments for children where they can learn at their own pace while making choices, interacting with people, and participating in activities. During her career, Abbie aims to bridge the gap between the self-contained environment and the society set for children.

 

She is from Hong Kong and can provide service in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English. 

*Abbie is currently on maternity leave.

Carly has a passion for working and supporting children and families, with the aim of creating a better quality of life. She believes that every child is special, and has the potential to grow and flourish in their own unique ways. Carly joined Bride Kids in 2019.

In 2022, Carly graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Masters of Education degree in Special Education with a concentration in Autism and Developmental Disabilities. Carly is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) since 2023.

 

Carly has worked with children of ages 2 to 15 years old in one-to-one, school and group settings, she has been dedicating herself to school support, positive behaviour support, and helping children develop functional behaviours, and social and life skills.

Ramie An, M.Ed.

Ramie dedicated herself to building her professional career by starting to work as a classroom teacher and understanding typical students with neurodiversity throughout her twenties. Ramie graduated from a Master’s program in Special Education concentration in Behaviour Disorder at the University of British Columbia in 2022. Now, She is working toward her goal to become a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst. 

During her undergrad, she studied Adapted Physical Education (Special P.E.), concentrating on obtaining a teaching certificate for adolescents (Lv. 2) in P.E. from the Ministry of Education in South Korea. She has a lot of work experience as a homeroom teacher at schools across British Columbia and South Korea. Ramie has a bright and friendly personality that allows her to work with diverse individuals in the spectrum. She feels thrilled when she looks at her students improving their individual competence through better communication with parents and empowering reciprocal relationships between teacher and students.

Ramie was born and raised in Korea, fluent in Korean and English, and intermediate in Chinese.

Kenny graduated from Arizona State University with a Master of Education in Applied Behaviour Analysis in 2021, and he has been working in the behaviour analysis field for over 9 years.

 

He has worked with individuals ranging from 3 to 25 years old supporting them to gain new skills and independence in multiple settings in their lives.

He received his Board Certified Behaviour Analyst in May 2022 and continues to support families and children to create a positive and happy environment. Kenny has always wanted to work in a place where he can put a smile on the face of the people he serves and have a positive impact on their lives. He also loves to help individuals fight through their challenges, learn new skills, and has developed great friendships with those he supports.

Kenny Ho is fluent in English and Mandarin. He can provide services in Mandarin upon request.

Hillery graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Science Degree. During her time in school she worked part time with children with Autism and grew very compassionate about this field of work. She noticed that children with Autism often struggle with communication and she wanted to help these children in need. Hillery began working at Bridge Kids as a behaviour interventionist in 2015. 

 

She believes that love and compassion can help one another to help and understand each other. She finds her work very rewarding seeing the children she works with grow under her support and guidance.

 

In the future, Hillery wants to further expand her expertise in this field by applying herself into a Master’s program in Special Education.

Hillery is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

Daisy completed her Bachelor of Arts concentrating on Child Development and Cognition and a Minor in Early Learning Education at Simon Fraser University in 2018.

 

As a behavioral interventionist working with children with ASD, Daisy finds her value and feels passionate about her future career. She is committed to continuing to expand her knowledge in Special Education and to practice Applied Behavioural Analysis in the field.

 

Daisy believes every child is unique and gifted. She respects each child’s individual differences and will facilitate their potential by adapting flexible teaching strategies.

Daisy has been a valuable team member at Bridge Kids since 2018.

Daisy is fluent in English and Mandarin.

Raphael Choi, MA

Family and Youth Support Worker (FYSW)

Raphael is an accomplished professional with a diverse psychology, education, and training background. His journey began with a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of British Columbia in 2005, followed by a Master of Applied Psychology from the City University of Hong Kong in 2013. During his time in Hong Kong, Raphael discovered his true calling – working with children and young adults with autism.

In 2202, Raphael furthered his expertise by completing a Youth and Family Support Certificate from Vancouver College of Counsellor Training (VCCT). This additional certification solidified his commitment to supporting youth and families in need. Raphael dedicated himself to helping individuals aged 6 to 22 navigate the challenges of autism. His genuine empathy and open-minded approach have made him exceptional at connecting with children, treating them as equals rather than authority figures.

Mira Gupta graduated from The University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2020, with a focus on Developmental and Clinical Psychology. During her tenure as a student, Mira has provided behavioural intervention to children diagnosed with ASD and provided one-on-one and family-based intervention to youth struggling with mental illness. 

Mira wants to work with children who experience developmental and psychological barriers as she draws personal strength from seeing other people succeed and overcome obstacles. Her compassion and love for helping children have complimented her career in Applied Behavioural Analysis. 

As a behaviour Interventionist, Mira believes that each child is unique, approaching her clients with genuine curiosity, empathy and compassion. She aspires to be a teacher, therapist, support system or any role that her specific clients may need. 

Mira plans on pursuing a master's in Developmental Psychology and is fluent in English and Hindi.

Ashley Dulay graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Child Health from Brock University.  She has a passion for child development that is centered around general well-being and personal growth to create lasting life skills. Through her volunteering at Children's Hospital she is able to contribute to children's emotional well-being through play.

 

She enjoys working with children as they continue to amaze her with their curiosity and imagination. Starting as a BI Ashley has a commitment to each child's growth and development.

Tiffany, a dedicated Behavior Interventionist hailing from Hong Kong, has passionately devoted nine years of her career to a local children and youth community center. Throughout this extensive journey, she has amassed invaluable expertise in supporting children with Special Education Needs (SEN), orchestrating after-school care initiatives, and orchestrating an array of captivating activities. Tiffany's affection for working with children is palpable, consistently exuding a positive and amicable demeanor. She actively engages in play with children, recognizing its pivotal role in nurturing their physical, social-emotional, language, problem-solving, and other developmental skills.

 

Furthermore, Tiffany boasts fluency in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English.

Tiffany Wong graduated from the Hong Kong Baptist University with a Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood Education specialized in Special Education in 2021. 

 

With her unique blend of Asian and Western ABA therapy skills, Tiffany began her career at one of the world's largest ABA treatment providers in Hong Kong. In 2023, she relocated to Calgary with her former company to advance her expertise in providing progressive ABA treatment. 

 

With over 3 years of experience as a Behaviour Interventionist, Tiffany is passionate about unleashing potential in every child she works with. She is dedicated to creating lasting impact on children with Autism and is actively working towards becoming a Board Certificate Behaviour Analyst (BCBA). 

 

Tiffany is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
